On February 24, 2024, the auditorium of the Tunjuelito Local Mayor's Office was filled with energy and commitment during the International Cooperation Training for Non-Profit Organizations. A space where the local community had the opportunity to learn, debate and explore new forms of collaboration at an international level.

The event, organized with the aim of strengthening ties between local and global actors, included the participation of community leaders, representatives of international organizations and cooperation experts. During the training, international cooperation strategies were discussed and collaboration opportunities were submitted on key issues such as sustainable development, education and institutional strengthening.

In addition to its focus on global cooperation, the training included a concrete action of environmental responsibility. Registration for the event was free of charge, but attendees were required to bring five PET plastic bottles as an entry fee for recycling. This initiative was a resounding success, as nearly 250 bottles were collected for recycling, thus contributing to the preservation of the environment and the promotion of sustainable practices in the area.

This training not only provided valuable knowledge to the attendees, but also reinforced the importance of small local actions in the framework of international cooperation. The participation of the Tunjuelito community demonstrated that collaboration and commitment can generate a positive impact both locally and globally.

The Local Mayor of Tunjuelito thanks all the participants for their enthusiasm and commitment, and hopes to continue promoting these spaces that encourage dialogue, collaboration and sustainability.

Thank you for being part of the change!
